3 out of 5 stars because of the dated stats.

I wish they would revise and update this book!  While the stories and anecdotal information are timeless, they statistics are not: VBACs are no longer rising in this country's hospitals, the C-section rate IS rising in our hospitals, and more and more hospitals are less willing to allow VBACs, wether by official policy or otherwise.  While I realize that this and any book published citing studies is obsolete by the time it reaches the presses, heaving now more than a decade of new research certainly makes a difference.  Overall, a good read for any woman, especially who ever plans to have children, and mostly, for a woman who has had a cesarean, whether she has ever entertained the notion of VBAC or not.
